A Ghazal night by Shishir Parkhie was organised recently on the occasion of the 15Th anniversary celebrations Orange City Hospital & Research Institute & Diwali Milan for the doctors & their families at the brand new banquet hall of Hotel Centre Point, Ramdaspeth, Nagpur.

There were many fans of late Jagjit Singh ji among the audience & as requested, Shishir started with a tribute to the legendary singer by singing some of his popular Ghazals like Hothon se chhu lo tum, Tumko dekha to, Aahista aahista, Jhuki Jhuki Si Nazar, Tum Itna jo muskura rahe ho, Kal choudavin ki raat thi & many more. This was followed by some other popular Ghazals & a few Ghazals from Shishir's upcoming album "Roomaniyat" & his earlier album " Once More Ghazals" & "Ahteraam".

Prominently present on the occasion were Dr Megha and Dr Nikhil Balankhe, Dr Rajesh and Dr Swati Atal, Dr Vivek and Dr Smita Harkare, Dr Aishwarya and Dr Atul Rewatkar, Dr Anup and Dr Bindu Marar, Dr Kausar and Bhavna Abbassi,Dr Anup Singh, Dr Suhas and Dr Anita Salpekar, Dr Anju and Dr Rajesh Mundhada, Dr Nandu Kolwadkar, Dr Dileep and Vijaya Dhande, Dr Usha Nair, Dr Arpita and Dr Amit Sahu, Dr Kishore and Dr Neeta Deshpande, Dr Vidya, Divya and Dr Vinaya & the director Shri Udaybhaskar Nair.
The Ghazal night was followed by Cocktails & Dinner while the Dj by Octave communications played some tracks for those interested in dancing.
