वो प्यार वो ख़ुलूस वो चाहत नहीं मिली

तुझसे बिछड़ के मुझको मोहब्बत नहीं मिली

मैं साधु और संत, फकीरों से भी मिला

ईमान की कहीं मुझे दौलत नहीं मिली

जो दूसरों के दर्द में शामिल नहीं हुआ

उसको ज़माने में कभी इज़्ज़त नहीं मिली

देखा था एक बार जिसे मैंने प्यार से

वो देखने को बरसों से सूरत नहीं मिली

उसको जहाँ की नेमतें क्या रास आएँगी

जिसको तुम्हारे प्यार की दौलत नहीं मिली
